Entrepreneurs’ association Waalsprong

Entrepreneurs Association Waalsprong wants to increase the involvement of its members and attract new entrepreneurs. Despite the growth in the number of businesses in the region, there is a lack of strong mutual connection and a structured way to work together and come together. The association sees opportunities to better connect entrepreneurs in the Waalsprong area, share knowledge and grow together. Unity Agency was asked to support this and develop a strategy to strengthen the entrepreneurs’ association.

To address this challenge, we combine the principles of a Community of Practice and a Community of Place. On the one hand, the entrepreneurs’ association provides a place where entrepreneurs can spar with each other, share experiences and work together for growth. On the other hand, we use the shared location and common interest in the development of the Waalsprong to connect entrepreneurs. This combination creates a powerful opportunity for a community in which entrepreneurs inspire and strengthen each other.

Our approach consists of a combination of organising valuable meetings and drawing up a strategic community strategy. We regularly organise events where entrepreneurs can meet and connect with each other in a low-threshold manner. These can be informal networking meetings or more in-depth sessions where specific themes or current developments are discussed. We also support membership recruitment and the association’s positioning, so that the business association increases its impact in the region. Through this approach, we not only strengthen mutual cooperation, but also make optimal use of the growth potential of Waalsprong.
