Connecting together on campus
Together with Radboud University, we are building a vibrant entrepreneurial community for 60 innovative companies on campus.
With a program that continuously moves with their needs.
The challenge
On the Radboud University campus, dozens of innovative companies, researchers and students work side by side. The distance between them is small, but the connection was lacking.
The companies hardly knew each other, while the potential was enormous: plenty of facilities, shared knowledge and opportunities to innovate together. Yet that power was not yet being utilized.
The approach
We started from scratch. No existing structure, no community. Just the ambition to really connect businesses on campus.
First, we dove into the needs of the target audience. Through surveys and personal conversations with entrepreneurs, we mapped out what was going on. We talked to stakeholders, examined the dynamics and drew inspiration from other business campuses.
The result
The pilot year is in full swing and the entrepreneurial community is visibly beginning to grow. The first steps have been taken and the energy on campus is increasing.
A diverse program of events is now running. From business speed dates and networking meetings to collaborations with partners such as NLSpaceHub. We visited inspiring locations such as the Stevens Skywalk and organized a vitality week with the Radboud Sports Center. This is how we bring not only companies but also campus facilities closer to the community.
At the same time, we are building a solid foundation. The LinkedIn page is growing, communication is increasingly consistent, and important stakeholders know how to find us. The structure of events, communication and collaboration is in place.
The real results are not yet measurable, but the movement is palpable. The community is gaining face, recognition and cohesion.
