About the role
Do you want to work in a fast growing and flexible company as (junior) Community Manager? Then we are looking for you! In this role you are the connecting force within our communities. You will quickly get your own project and also work on the start-up, because we are building Unity Agency together with all employees! Which project? That depends on your interest and expertise. We invite you to especially give your own interpretation to projects!

We believe that working on goals together is easier and more fun than alone! That is why we are at our office in the center of Nijmegen every Tuesday and Thursday, the rest of the week you fill in as it suits you.
As Community Manager, you will be responsible for building, managing and growing communities. You ensure connection, involvement and positive dynamics, and know what is going on within the community. With your insight and energy you translate needs and opportunities into concrete actions.
Community research: You identify what is already going well and where there are opportunities for improvement.
Develop strategies: Based on your findings, you make plans to strengthen the connection within the community.
Organizing events: You facilitate meetings, both online and offline, to connect people.
Share results: You maintain close contact with clients and demonstrate the impact you are making.
Marketing & Communications: You are responsible for clear and engaging communication within the community.

At Unity Agency, we work with a variety of clients, each with unique needs. For one client, we start a community from scratch, while for another, we further strengthen an existing, thriving community.
You know better than anyone else what’s going on in your community(s). You talk to people, collect needs, find the real enthusiasts and make them ambassadors. Organize cool events or build platforms; it can be anything. But above all: connect by doing!

Salary: € 2,600 – € 3,200 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on your experience

There are nine of us now: Job, Lieke, Sara, Eline, Ramon, Jeroen, Kiki, Iris and Jori. Job has almost 10 years of experience in Community Building, ensuring that the current team learns all about connecting target groups. Community Building is still emerging, so you belong to a club of progressive and curious people. At Unity Agency, you get the space to move freely and continue to grow.
